Sähëlï Cycling Club
Pioneering women’s cycling
since 2006 in Birmingham
So, When Can You Join Us?
Sähëlï Hub works in partnership with Big Birmingham Bikes, Cycling UK and Active Parks to deliver ‘women only’ cycling sessions in three parks. All our sessions are free to all women and girls aged 14+.
Sähëlï Cycling Club instructors will teach you how to ride a bike. It doesn’t matter how long it takes we WILL help you to ride a bike with confidence. We provide the bikes and helmets, so you just need to turn up.
So, when can you join us? See below our schedules for Ward End Park, Handsworth Wellbeing Centre & Calthorpe Wellbeing Hub.
This morning has been one of the best mornings of my life! At the tender age of 27 I have finally managed to learn how to ride a bike. A massive thank you to Sähëlï Hub – Amazing instructors full of life and smiles in the morning with lots of encouragement. I couldn’t have done it without this group. Love it!
Sähëlï have been teaching cycling to women for over 12 years here in the inner city of Birmingham. Over the years we have taught over 800 women how to ride a bike for the first time from 14+ to our most senior rider who was 68 years old. We now have trained nine new Ride Leaders to support the development of new rides in other parks.
